Skuldheim is located in the Kingdom of Arkadia. We are first and foremost a large international community with an European majority. The Duchy of Skuldheim is the French-speaking branch.
Skuldheim plans to bring together the largest French community of the European server Selene. Many are the brave men who have already joined us. We have no less than 150 french speaking members on our discord that I invite you to join now to come and ask your questions. Unity is strength. It is here that the Kingdom of Arkadia is distinguished from its counterparts. Each duchy is equivalent to a region. These will adopt the orders decreed by the central power.
The duchy will be directed by the duke and assisted by all the nobles and aristocrats. A ducal council will be held each month to advance the Duchy and solve internal problems, to adapt laws, adjust the economy and strengthen teamwork. Absurd is to want to recreate the feudal system to the letter. That is why our government will be a mixture of monarchy and republic where meritocracy will be the watchword.
It is through his commitment and exemplarity that the nobility and aristocracy of Skuldheim will guide his people. Outside the duchy, they will be the representatives.
The duke is there to apply the will of the king in his duchy and must make sure that everyone respects the law. He is at the head of the Arkadian soldiers of his duchy. The Counts will be in charge of the good economic health of their region. They will have to manage the implementation of infrastructure in his county and ensure that the mayors fill their shares. The mayors will answer to their count and will be at the heart of the economy since it is they who will ensure the proper functioning of the tax harvesting and micro resource management.
The barons will be the protectors of the Kingdom. Any soldier under a baron's command will belong to Arkadia's army. They are also required to do justice in the name of the duke. The barons answer the direct orders of the duke.
It is true that playing a noble or an aristocrat brings privileges but also his share of responsibilities. As a result, a nobleman or aristocrat who does not fulfill his duties may be deprived of his title and dispossessed of his property. This may seem abrupt but necessary in case of abuse or prolonged absence.

The economy is a vital subject. Each county will be responsible for developing its land with the support of mayors in the county. Thanks to this management, we will have a network of roads allowing us to facilitate the movement of goods and people.
Mayors will be responsible for optimizing local resource management. This will allow us to specialize our productions and thus increase economic exchanges within the duchy and towards our neighbors.
Each county and mayor is free to choose its economic orientation. The Duchy supports many local and national economic projects. No aspect will be neglected, everyone can choose his way if it does not go against the Kingdom.
Arkadia is the only kingdom that has a modern army of professional soldiers. When the drums of war sound, the Arkadian soldiers will answer their duke who will answer him to the king. This centralization limits intermediaries and avoids as much internal wars as was the case during the Middle Ages.
Each Arkadian can follow a military service that will allow him to have equipment and serve in the army of Arkadia for the defense of the territory.
