Nestled beside the lake along of the northwestern borders of Osthelia lies the small settlement of Ellera. Known prominently for The Grand Library of Osthelia beside the banks of the lake, as well as the small Apothecary hut towards the outskirts of the village. Ellera is also a wide trade market due to it's location between two neighboring counties and abundant food supply derived through farming and fishing.

Ellera is a town dedicated to the preservation and pursuit of knowledge in order to benefit Osthelia as a whole. In this regard it draws scholars, scientists and, adventures alike committed to ensuring the prosperity of our great county.

Perminent Positions Available within Ellera

Treasurer - Ensures timely collection/distribution of taxes and, funding is available for all projects before moving forward. Owner of Land and therefore council seat.

Constable - Responsible for maintaining defenses and, recruiting/training new guards. Also acts as General on a town level in the event of invasion/war time. Owner of Land/council seat.

Head Chronicler - Also a seat within The Great Osthelian Library the Head Librarian will also be a Land owner and, council member.

Master Alchemist - Responsible for running the Ellera Branch of the AAS in order to discover new recipes and, provide the main branch with additional ingredients. Will own land associated with Apothecary hut and, therefore a council seat and vote.

Innkeeper - Owner and proprietor of the local inn. As a major landowner they will hold the final initial seat upon the council.

Production

Fish - With a large natural supply Ellera will have a means to feed not only the settlement but, our neighboring settlements as well.

Parchment - whether through lumber fed or plant fed means Ellera is dedicated to preservation and reproduction of knowledge and therefore will require large quantities of parchment readily available.

Grain/Grapes - With the natural climate of the forest and large body of water readily available Ellera will utilize farmland to further boost food income.
