Grand university Built Buy a prominent family within the Duchy of Thorne in the Grasslands biome on Angelica server. Our Goals and The county to back it up are to create a thriving region of trade and craft in the heart of the Duchy with which to provide an excellent location for newer players to gather safely to learn the skills they need to seek greater success in what ever endeavors they desire.
All races and tribes are welcomed and encouraged here the Academies' number one rule is that "All are welcome, All are taught." As such discrimination on Tribal background will not be tolterated.
Any Guild that wishes to seek trained staff are encouraged to speak with a relevant department head for Alumni members who seek placement out side of the organization. We have no desire to keep our graduates to our own organization outside of replacing teachers as they seek to retire. this means that any and all students who do not wish to join in an ongoing research project will be seeking locations where they're talents will be valued. Thus we welcome people to seek skilled professionals here at Roswynd academy.
Any school that seeks an exchange of knowledge please contact the Head master (Faustes). Knowledge is a powerful thing and it's power only grows through sharing and spreading the knowledge so that it can be used by more people, thus skills and recipes useful to the general public should be shared to all who wish to educate and research.
Rulers who seek to educate their heirs and younger children safely have our guarantee to safe escort your children back to their native country to emissaries of your choice in the event of a war with our home country. To do this the school is planning on maintaining a small military force to escort Students both too and from the Academy. Students of the university are free to leave to their home domains in the event of wars or family emergencies (with escort provided to children of important figures), and may rejoin the school at their leisure latter.
Faculty are encouraged to be citizens of Istorfinna with a preference of having living arrangements made with or near the academy. The Count will aid in making sure housing is available and that if you wish to build your own long term housing to live and retire in that the land is more cheaply accessed to university staff with tenure.
We believe that creating a rich world full of adventure, lore and craft is a great goal, but if you lack the skills to reach those goals. The skills needed are maybe difficult to learn quickly, or may be made hard to reach by expensive prices for tuition in other schools. We wish to eliminate other hurdles such as the price of materials, craft stations, and equipment. As these obstacles may lead to some player's having less fun and not wanting to participate in the game due to the hurdles of achieving a functional character. To solve the issue of access to training and labor I seek to help as many Npc's and players have quality training and a source of contacts for skilled labor to help elevate them along their chosen path or goals.
We believe that the developed talents of our students and Faculty are connected to one field or another in some manner and thus we will seek to encourage those who gain talents to research their potential uses within the departments. Just as we believe magic may connect across may fields of study thus we have no individual department for magic studies.

My Duchess has expressed a desire to have a school of performing arts We may either compete with her or cancel the performing arts section of the school in deferment to her wishes latter.
