Bryndale Shadow Initiative
The Bryndale Shadow Initiative or BSI will have its Company Head Quaters in Caestermere while its recruiting team and initiate training will be down in Fort Rayvnspire. BSI breaks down into two core teams domestic and foreign, BSI can be seen as a “government agency” taking on delicate and important tasks in time of war from the King and his officials while in times of peace allowing safe movement of all citizens of Aequitas through Bryndale by dealing with banditry and beasts in the area and maintaining a scouting presence in surrounding regions.
Personnel
The foreign sector of BSI is made of grizzled rangers and warriors more commonly referred to as “Ghosts” due to their ability to remain undetected while in enemy territory. Ghosts are usually people who have either completed crucial missions within friendly borders or been given the nod by someone of rank either within our organisation or the kingdoms hierarchy.
BSI agents abroad will be tasked mainly to reconnaissance behind enemy lines but in times of war will band in small squads and cause havoc throughout enemy countrysides whilst for the most part remaining unseen, unless of course they have been called to a more specific task.
The domestic sector based out of Fort Rayvnspire will compromise for a majority initiates and junior rangers looking to prove their mettle within the organisation, groups of such people being led by superiors will be doing what can be seen as for the most part simple peacekeeping; patrolling forests and less populated areas for bandits and their camps, hired to merchants and noble travellers as a protective front and rear guard and lastly tracking creatures that are a threat to surrounding townspeople.
While BSI prides itself on the fighting abilities and fitness of its members not all who are apart of the organisation are built to do these tasks. BSI’s headquarters in Caestermere houses scribes and tinkerers intent on learning and advancing their skills to further our goals of keeping Aequitas safe.
