Raiders of the Lost Vault Event!

By Serpentius

As the Longest Night waxes ever closer and endless twilight enshrouds the land, all the people and creatures of Elyria make their final preparations to winter the bleak years ahead. With stores uncomfortably low from a meager growing season, the search for additional resources is on everyone's mind. Adventurers use the dwindling light to scour the land. It is during this time that, in a forgotten ruin, an entrance to an underground lair is discovered; its secrets still intact from an unknown time.

With the promise of untold riches; explorers and champions from all over enter the deep dungeon. What they bring out will change the face of Elyria permanently...

Hailing from Oceanus, the King of Sokara was among those who entered the ruins, but he and his party have not been seen nor heard of for an alarming amount of time and his council fears the worst. Dungeoneers on Oceanus have another treasure to claim if they can bring back proof of his fate...

Welcome to our December Event, Raiders of the Lost Vault!

Overview

Raiders of the Lost Vault is a community engagement event that takes place during this Longest Night. Read the accompanying lore to learn more about this momentous time during Elyria's history.

Players will participate by engaging in a game of spying, raiding, and collecting coins. With enough effort, you could end up as the player with the largest cache of Ancient Coins and win the Grand Prize!

Participants may:

  • Send coins to another you wish to vote for the winner of one of the two top server-specific prizes
  • Amass the coins for yourself
  • Spend Supplies to Raid the Immortal Vault in the hopes of earning amazing treasure
  • Spend Supplies to Spy on Shipments and see what other vault raiders are up to

All players who own a pledge package of any level at the start of the event will receive an allotment of Ancient Coins and Supplies based on their backing level.

Additional Supplies may be purchased through our Online Store for $10 which includes 10 Supplies. More details towards the bottom of this post.

Two incredible individual rewards will be won on each server:

  • There is 1 grand prize per server
  • There is 1 runner up per server

There are milestone rewards unique to each server, where you'll get to Vote for the prizes you'd like your server to get from the Immortal Vault. Each tier is unlocked by the overall progress of the vault exploration bar. The event page will show you the current progress and allow you to vote. For each of the 4 milestones along the way, pledged accounts will earn a prize and also unlock the vote for that tier. Votes will be tallied at the end of the event and each server will get the reward with the most votes from their citizens!

All said, you stand to win big during this holiday event.

Read on for all of the details.

Who can participate?

The event is open to all players who own a pledge package of Elyrian or higher.

Your account must be in good standing to participate in this event.

When is it?

This event begins on December 17th, at 12pm PST and lasts through December 31st, at 12pm PST.

Shortly, we will reveal our Longest Night lore, and our Holiday Promotion will also go live! Check back for further updates or join our Official Discord Server for news as it happens.

How does it work? (Details)

As we've done for many of our past events, you'll participate by starting at this link:

Event Landing Page

Here is what it should look like on desktop:

How do Actions work?

Note All three of the below actions will add an amount to the progress bar. This is the only way to advance the progress bar.

Send Coins

Sending coins allows you to help your fellow community member if you feel they deserve to win the Grand Prize or Runner up prize for your server. You can only send coins from your Fund. Coins can only be sent once.

Spy on Shipments

Spying costs one of your Supplies and provides you a ledger of the 10 most recent sending and raiding activities.

Raid the Vault

Raiding costs one of your Supplies and will earn you a random prize. Items will appear in your inventory and are tradable. Supplies are shown only on the event page.

Prizes

Individual Prizes

The Grand prize for Oceanus is:

  • Claim to the Throne of Sokara - You win a Monarch Ltd. package, ownership of the kingdom of Sokara on the Oceanus server, and an ingame title: "The Luminary"

The Runner-Up prize for Oceanus is:

  • You win a Royal Ltd. package on the Oceanus server and a Casus Belli to the throne of Sokara

The Grand prize for Angelica, Luna, and Selene is:

  • You win the unique relic The Sunstone, which creates a natural daylight cycle in a 192 meter radius no matter if underground or during the Longest Night, 25,000 EP, and the ingame title: "The Luminary"

The Runner-Up prize for Angelica, Luna, and Selene is:

  • You win a Royal Ltd. package and an exclusive manual for a powerful combat style once lost to time, which is rumored to use a flail and offensive shield

Community Rewards

Additionally, at every 25% of the progress bar, individual Community Rewards are earned. There are 4 levels of Community Rewards available, of which some of the community is eligible to receive as individuals. They are as follows:

Level 1 & 2 Prizes: All Elyrians
Level 3 & 4 Prizes: Bloodline+ packages

Level 1 reward:

All Elyrians receive a Pure Gold Ingot

Despite the odds, you are able to get your hands on a pure gold ingot found in the vault. Any appraiser will tell you its worth a hefty sum! All players with an Elyrian package get this reward.

Level 2 reward:

All Elyrians receive a Replica Combination Lock

A clever portable lock mechanism is found in the vault and tinkerers reverse engineer it. The pattern is a closely guarded secret by master tinkerers, but the mechanism itself is commercially available. All players with an Elyrian package get this reward.

Level 3 reward:

All Bloodline and above players receive Kindling Ritual Supplies

A ritual is discovered in the vault that can light a fire without flint & steel. You are able to procure a copy of the ritual as well as the supplies to perform it. All players with a Bloodline package or higher get this reward.

Level 4 reward:

All Bloodline and above players receive a potted Starberry Plant

Glowing flora is found in the vault, growing despite the darkness. Some cuttings are brought back and propagated. They only grow in darkness, but the novelty has created a market for this delicacy. All players with a Bloodline package or higher get this reward.

Server Rewards

For each 25% milestone on the progress bar, you'll earn the opportunity to vote on that reward tier for your server. You will only be voting on the outcome for your main server.

Note: You must have completed server selection to vote.

Server rewards are earned separately for each server. The exact prize is determined by a vote from accounts who have completed server selection.

Here is a graphical overview of the 4 tiers of what servers may vote for at each milestone:

Vault Supplies

During the event, in our online store, you can purchase additional supplies when you run out.

"Gives you Supplies to use in the Raiders of the Lost Vault event, and a $5 store credit bonus!"

These supplies allow you to enter the Immortal Vault to search for treasure or spy on others' vault activities during the Raiders of the Lost Vault event.

Purchasing gives you 10 Supplies to use in the event and $5 in store credit as our gift to you!

Bonus! For each $10 spent per transaction on anything in the store during the event, you will also receive 1 Ancient Coin to send or keep to win the Grand Prize. Using store credit does not count toward earning Ancient Coins, but Raiding has a chance to find additional coins.

Rules:

  1. The Grand Prize will be awarded, one per server, to the person who possesses the highest number of coins in their stash at the end of the event.
  2. The Runner-Up Prize will be awarded, one per server, to the person who possesses the second-highest number of coins in their stash at the end of the event.
  3. Because the Grand Prize and Runner-Up Prize is server-specific, you must have completed Server Selection by the end of the event to be eligible to win them. Having the most coins but no server selected disqualifies an account from winning the grand prize and runner-up prize, and the prizes will go to the people who have the most coins and their main server selected.
  4. Accounts without a server selected are still eligible to receive server rewards and individual community rewards, as long as they have the required package type by the end of the event.
  5. Existing Kingdom holders are ineligible to win the Grand Prize or Runner-Up Prize. However, coins they receive will still have counted toward the progress bar prizes.
  6. The Grand Prize and Runner Up Prize are bound to the account that wins them. They are not tradable or sendable, and will never be transferable, prior to launch.
  7. Only players with pledge packages are able to participate.
  8. Your account must be in good standing in order to participate.
  9. There is no limit to the number of coins that can be obtained.
  10. The contest will run from December 17th, at 12pm PST to December 31st, at 12pm PST. All prizes and results will be announced after the event concludes.
  11. The use of bots or other automation to play the game may cause your account to be suspended and become ineligible to receive any of the prizes (refer to rule 8).
  12. Players displaying unsportsmanlike conduct during the event may be removed from participation and become ineligible to receive any of the prizes (refer to rule 8).

We're excited for you to participate in this final event of 2018, so head over to the Event Landing Page and have fun raiding the Immortal Vault!

UPDATE 12/17/2018 1:03PM PST: We are aware of the issue where supplies and coins are not awarding and we are investigating. We apologize for the inconvenience and once it is resolved we will make sure anyone who bought items eligible for an Ancient coin or Supplies are retroactively awarded what they are owed. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE 12/28/2018: As of now, all issues with supplies and/or coins have been resolved. We have reconciled every account that was participating. If you believe there is still any issue, you are welcome to contact us with details at support@soulboundstudios.com.

UPDATE 12/29/2018 3:51PM PST: Coins left in My Funds at the end of the event will not count towards the progress bar. If you want coins in your Fund to count towards the progress bar, you must send them to someone else or yourself before the event ends on 12/31 at 12pm PST. Coins not sent will still count towards the grand and runner-up prizes, but will not move the progress bar. Please spread the word, thank you!

Alright thank for the gifts and sending my coins soon. Thanks serp I want to move it forward. Keeping them sounded fun (-= but not worth it

Serpentius - 4 months ago

We were asked to verify this since there was some confusion along the way.

I added this to the original post as well near the bottom.

It boils down to two things. One is that SbS has stated in the past that loot boxes are absolutely never going to be part of the game, and this sets a worrying precedent for anyone with even a hint of bitterness or paranoia due to prior experiences with MMOs crashing from bad handling or dishonest devs. The other is that this is meant to be a community participation event, but it's not possible to participate beyond the initial pulls without paying for it.

It's not a matter of regretting participation at all, I don't think. More a matter of what participation requires, and what it might mean for the development process.

Not gonna catch up on the whole convo Wolfguarde, but short answer is, Loot boxes will never be a thing.

There is 0 way to implement them that wouldn't ruin Everything they have. Some people make the argument for weapon skins, but EVEN THAT would be absolutely devastating to their game mechanics.

We have entire crafting lines such as Embroidery, where it is basically All for looks. If they add stuff in that lets people just pay to look good it ruins large sections of the game for so many people.

I wouldn't let this one event that simply uses a random number generator to award a lot of people a lot of mediocre stuff scare you.

HajimeSaikou - 4 months ago

Even if they are loot boxes, what difference does it make? No one is being forced to buy them! Anyone who does buy them should know that it is random!

How about people take responsibility for their own actions rather than blame others?

If you don't like loot boxes, if you don't like gambling, if you don't have the money or are not prepared to risk it, the answer is simple.

DON'T BUY THEM!!!

If you buy them, loot boxes or raid supplies, then its your choice and your own fault if you regret it!!

Varhukan - 4 months ago

This is such a simple yet enduring way to enjoy the lore and get to do something while waiting. Sad at the items I raided when I heard what other have found. Also wish I could earn that fighting style before anyone else.

On the high note, anyone not wanting to keep playing the game please send me everything you have pillaged because yeah I'm going to be around.

Can anyone explain why the coins can only be sent once?

Can anyone explain why the coins can only be sent once?

I believe this has more to do with it being part of the bar mechanic. The bar moves when coins are sent. Thus if they could be sent multiple times it would invalidate the mechanic as a viable way to progress the bar forward.

I'd also say this is a way to block using alt accounts to store coins. Forces contenders to keep all their eggs in one basket once they start collecting.

Hail Elyrians!

We noticed that there were a couple of bugs in the Lost Vault event and have resolved them.

  • Any issues with raiding Supplies have been addressed. If you were missing raiding supplies they have now been restored.
  • We've also applied a similar fix to Ancient Coins so you should be all set to continue to participate.

If you believe something is inaccurate, please email us at support@soulboundstudios.com.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, good luck and have fun!

^ This, and generally if SbS is going to respond to a community concern like this, it's in a fairly large post or a standalone thread. Give them time to put together their official response.

For my part, I'd be happy to see a small (1-5) supply replenishment every 24 hours, to allow everyone some measure of participation beyond the default allotment of supplies. Interesting as this event is for its rewards, I'm very, very leery of pay-gated loot boxes.

Yes, loot boxes.

It wouldn't matter, even if it was a stretch to call them that. The problem is how it looks to anyone with even a trace of bitterness toward games that have them. If the only tool you have is a hammer, everything eventually starts to look like a nail. Loot boxes are a fairly simple concept: You open a package and get a randomly assigned reward. Supplies are the currency in this instance through which the boxes are purchased.

Not here to start drama, just pointing out what I see as a flaw in the event's design. It makes me uneasy seeing these in the game, especially when the only way to participate beyond the initial supply allotment is to buy more rolls. For my part, this ceases to be an issue if people have a small number of rolls a day without paying, but it's not going to impact my support for the game negatively if it doesn't happen. I just hope we don't see recurring events designed in a similar way in the future.

This is a loot box system.

Pay for a lootbox > click open > get a random item

Pay for supplies > click raid > get a random item

I know i'll get a lot of flame from people for pointing such an obvious fact out but you cant lie to yourself.

I tend to be completely against loot boxes.... though in the case of SBS I accept it in this instance due to them requiring funding for their project which will become most peoples dream game, plus Caspian himself stated once in game all item cash stores will be removed which i have faith that he will uphold that

Well what fun I've had. A few clicks for a minute and done. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Oh but hey, you can sit at the table and watch wealthy people play, see? Oh great, thanks, Merry Xmas to you too.

Bollocks. SbS - 'Raiders of the Lost Wallet'

Sagan - 4 months ago

As always in disagreements, people forget to give credit where its due. Winter has helped build up a story and history in her side of the woods. She's always constantly helping people in the newcomer sections. Perhaps her efforts are part of the reason some of the communities out there have some extra members. So no one has to pretend anyone's a bad person.

But yes these frustrations have to be handled differently. Its just a forum but consider going about this in a more professional and constructive manner. We all want this game to grow and be a success, so despite our differences we are ultimately on the same team.

As for the content of the frustration, you're absolutely not alone Watru. But take care to not diminish our position by lashing out. The "supplies for play" model was been a bit of a kick to the groin, but our stances are also beliefs I know people like Caspian are receptive to. The event is still young, and even with all the ups and downs along the way there is one thing I can say for certain... SBS has never let me down. They always bounce back, repair the issues, go the extra yard, confront the problems and compensate when/where they can.

Dont count for much at this point.
Maybe am being negative in your eyes, but to me am being realistic and calling a spade for a spade.

How long time ago was the gif posted. (November 4th and before that Nothing and after NOTHING. and most of it is, in engine so they cant prove the client works even.)

We have not seen anything, but they are all for asking for money. I see the same thing every time there is a crowdfunded game. Majority of backers are all fanatic and say everything is ok will be ok bla bla bla..

But it never is, if we would step out of our bubble and look at it objectively we can see SbS have failed on every promises and deadline.

When it come to me "tarnishing" the reputation of the devs i think they have managed that them self.

I wish them nothing but love and success but going over 3rd party forums like reddit i know am not alone just tough i be so brave and post it here.

MAYBE SbS take notices.

EDIT: It is actually threads asking about if this is a scam or not.. FFS time to do something SbS.

There’s a difference in having an opinion and trying to ruin reputation by being completely negative, disrespectful, and lying about the actual situation.

Then clearly you need to reread some posts. Because progress has been made. Is being made and has been shown. If you require further guideance you can check the media channels of the official discord, or even SirApetus’ forum post. Proof has been shown. Sorry it isn’t to your standards

VioletWinterlynn - 4 months ago

Sounds like you don’t actually know the reality of the situation and instead are making a bunch of huge assumptions about things that you have zero clue about because you aren’t sbs. But things aren’t going the way you want so you have to be negative like this on an open forum.

If you have any form of actual constructive criticism I suggest emailing and contacting SbS if you want their attention. In a positive way. This won’t get you very far at all.

“All these years” you say, it hasn’t been that long at all. It takes YEARS for MMOs to develope. It takes TIME for MMOs to develope. It takes PEOPLE to develope those MMOs. This has been a very. Very. Small amount of time compared to MMOs that took years to even release screenshots. Let alone something playable that even remotely looked good. And they had huge teams working on them with a huge amount of funding for their time.

Just because the game isn’t progressing the way or timeline that you want it to, does not mean that they aren’t making progress, that they are wasting time and resources. You don’t know their team, what resources they have and what they can or can’t spend for it. This event was made for the community for a bit of community engagement by the outreach team which means that it didn’t take away time or resources from developing the game to the extent that you are making it sound like.

Yes, people agree that this is poor timing, that there might have been a better time or a bettter way of doing this. However, whether we or they like it or not this has to happen now because Oceanus is down a Monarch and they need someone to fill that slot, so this is the way they have presented to fill that slot. It’s a time constraint that they need to fill because, things are progressing and they need this for those things to progress more.

So please, if you have constructive criticism that would help any better, feel free to directly contact sbs or make a post that would actually help the conversation.

This is the same arguments all the fanatics for IdentityRPG was talking to look how that went..

The FACT is they have not showed anything they have not keept any promises or deadline`s and they keep milking us and provide NOTHING in return.

CoE == IdentityTPG it is as simple as that.

If we dont start to be a lite bit septic this is Identity v2.0.

And i did email them providing them good reason and offers them free PR consulting by my firm no respons, so dont tell me i did not try the proper channels first.

They never address these issues and concerns because if they did they would be fucked. Parden my "french".

Watru - 4 months ago

@HerbLord : Well i think this is a complete waste of time and resources.

If SbS would treat there community equal and provide some actual progress people would spend more money if they actually managed to keep to the promises and release everything they say they would.

I see more and more negative stuff about SbS and CoE and its all due to the lack of progress\ real content and the favoritism..

So i don`t get it if they wanted to make money then give us something REAL..not this recycled browser games.

I will be totally honest I think they are way in over there heads and are unable to make real progress. Sure seems like it, not even a Christmas sneak peek of the UE 4 client we KNOW exists and people play on.It must be really bad if they don`t have anything to show us after all these years.

But i guess that is what you get when you develop a game with 3 different clients, witch NEVER made it to the community\ player base as promised.

Here we go again, yet another event that has nothing to do with the game they are supposedly making.

That favors the high tier backers, has nothing to do with the holiday or the game.

Yet another shit stain if you ask me.

Not quite, the previous searing plague event affected the direction of the lore in the game. The vault in this event will similarly become a historic location in the world among other. In addition there's freebies to be had even if you don't spend anything on this event yourself.

I understand what you mean though, but constructive criticism is better received than a poorly, or even wrongly, constructed criticism. You don't remove one stain by making another stain. Even better, suggest a way they could improve on what they are doing.

Suggestions could be things like a raffle system. Whales will still have the greatest chance of winning with that, but at least everyone else will still have a chance, making it far less "pay to win".

Honestly I think bad practices like this is something we have to come to expect from SbS.

Seems like every time they do anything it is just a simple browser game. Seems like they just switched up the names from the plague event.

Works the same in all honesty, i have tried to give feedback it is ignored or down voted by the cult army.

When SbS presented this project i had confidence but they have yet to keep there promises on any thing game related. (MudLyria, KoE, Pre-\Alpha, Blueprint\ Building App, and on and on it goes)

So maybe this approach works ? At least i got a reply this time, lol.

Those that spend a lot are FUNDING the game so that SBS can complete and release the game independently! In order to get the game funded you need rich people to buy stuff that they want.

without them funding the game SBS would have to sell out to a producer and then you will see the REAL predatory practices crop up in the game once its released. (WHICH SBS DOES NOT WANT)

But right now you get free stuff even if you do not spend a cent in the event. In my opinion this event is well handled and I hope to see more like it. It gives something for the whales to spend money on and on top of that it gives others some free stuff.

No, the coins will be turned into your stash at the end of the event. The coins are simply a "Token" for the event to determine the prize winners.

Ah, just to clarify: Supplies won't win you the event. The metric is coins; that is, the one with the most coins on each server will win the grand prize. Coins can be acquired in a number of ways: They can be requested from other players, they can be found in raids on the vault, and they're awarded as a gift with purchases of $10 or more from the store. Players with lower tier packages began with 8x more coins than those with the highest tier packages, meaning that the people who are most likely to have the least, started with the most coins. If you're an adventurer tier player, and you're worried that a "whale" is going to buy more coins than you have, at least know that they're going to have to spend almost $100 just to catch up with what you started the game with, for free.

Supplies allow you to raid the vault or spy to see the last 10 transactions in the game. You can purchase more supplies if you like. That said, supplies aren't required to win the individual prizes of the event at all.

Rather instead, supplies are used to raid the vault or spy, which helps to move the community bar forward to earn the server-specific rewards such as the volcanic biome. Though, even there, supplies aren't necessary: The community bars move when you send coins to other players as well.

Hope that helps! :)

I want to strongly disagree with this calculation (the part with 100$ for catching up). Adventurers start with 8 coins, higher nobility starts with 1 coin. 10 supplies effectively cost 5€/$ as you get 5 back when buying 10 for 10€/$. 20 supplies used for raiding the vault gave me 9 coins. The numbers others got (spreadsheats) indicate that my amount of coins is roughly average and not by more than a magnitude more than average. So with my margin, thats roughly a coin per two supplies. Which means, for 100€/$, I could buy 200 supplies, which will result in roughly 90 coins. 90, not 7.

The Twilight Garden is a limited item, which means:

  • You can send this kit to another player once in your inventory
  • You may purchase one of these per account
  • Package contents can be claimed once in game
  • Bundle can be opened once in game

That someone might be able to send you another one if you're interested in collecting more, but the intention here is that players would have very few of these in the world, in comparison to unlimited items.

'Concerns' like yours have been voiced over and over again over the past few years and SBS has responded to them quite a few times. No point in addressing stuff that was already addressed. As for the question by Ilyria, it was specific for this event and as such needed to be addressed.

I don't have much issues with this event, but so close to Christmas we have a smaller chance to get higher tier rewards. And it is a bit close to the previous promo.

Yes, it helped. I wanted to buy two, so I get 3 coins. If I buy 2 on separate occasions, I get 2 coins. That is why I rather bought 2 together in one go.

Now I need to rethink what to buy to get 3 coins for that money.

ah, that explains it. well... then its 70€/$ to catch up, which is quite close to 100. granted. still, your post was at minimum misleading, as most people that want to buy coins would get them via supplies from raiding. and there, the coin per money ratio is much better, as shown.

A microbiome in the immediate area around the Vault's location in the world, it's either the volcanic one or the starlight bio-luminescent one. I get the feeling these aren't unique biomes tho, that you probably will find both of these microbiomes elsewhere. However, reaching this goal will certainly make the vault location stand out more than if it's just part of the general biome in the area.

You talk like this is any different over the FKE. It's basically the same. Could pay to win your way in that, this way isn't much difference.

Well the only real difference. The people running in the FKE, well most of them, weren't rich. Where this event already has some very rich people running, where if they so choose, could just win it by funding themselves.

Why would the lower pledges get more coins? Or are they supposed to add together where a Count would also be a Mayor and Elyrian, so a Count would get 1 + (2 to 4) + 8 = 11 to 13.

It does not have to be just you winning the event. If you and some compatriots team together and all spy, and all pool your coins, it is doable that way.

But yeah. If you plan on doing this event solo, the spy function won't help much

The spy feature would be good for figuring out who is trading coins to whom. This info is only good on a larger scale unless you find yourself catching someone trading large numbers of coins, or if everyone you see is giving them to the same person.

Honestly the "10 most recent transactions" bit kills this function a tad, but the idea is if you and some other people keep on it you can get an idea of the market.

Will supplies somehow refill by time or is the event completely finished if someone logs in once and does all his treasurehunting and does not want to spend money?

Though... it seems like spending money is worth it here. If I understand it right, you get 5€ back for 10€ spent, so actually 5€ for 10 tries and these tries can result in 100EP or a spark or life or other things that are clearly worth more than 5€. I just wonder, what these potatoes and stuff are good for. Will these just be ingame items after the game is launched or are they event-related?

And well... if someone is interested in trading the 100EP gift versus coins... I might like to do that trade... currently for all my coins (which is only 7 :P)

Apparently this is a problem the outreach team is looking into right now. I don't have more details, but I do know that everyone affected will get what is missing once it is addressed.

Hope that helps! :)

Omg, with Atlas coming out people want to play a real game right now... but we will be force to play this a bit 😭

Hope it’s more fun than the plague event that felt like a chore more than a game.

As usual, we'll add the FAQ as the 2nd post so we can link to it from the landing page FAQ and expand it as the event unfolds.

FAQ

Q: The rules say I must select my server to win. How can I do that?
A: You can select your server from the Server Select button on the event page, or on your Account Page. Read this post for full details.

Q: What counts toward the progress bar?
A: Using either the Raid or Spy abilities increase the progress bar by a set amount. Sending coins increases the bar by the number of coins sent.

Q: What can I do with Store Credit?
A: You can use it on anything in our online store, including upgrades for Pledge Packages or a la carte merchandise. Note: Purchasing items with Store Credit does not count towards your total influence points and will not earn you Ancient Coins, but Raiding has a chance to find additional coins.

Q: Where is the Immortal Vault on the map?
A: It will be in a temperate latitude, but exact placement will differ per server and must be re-discovered by players. We hope you enjoy trying to find it ingame.

Q: How can I tell which server prizes have the most votes on my server?
A: Results will be given AFTER the event ends. During the event, all votes are private.

Q: Does selecting my server mean I can only ever create characters on that server?
A: No, you may create a character on any server you like, but your Character Rewards (including titles & lands, exposition points, mounts & pets, and souls) are bound to the server you select.

Q: Can the Royal package be won by Free Kingdom of Elyria accounts?
A: No.

Q: Do Dras get burned from the light of the Sunstone?
A: All tribes are affected by the Sunstone in the same way they would be affected by sunlight.

Q: What happens to Supplies not spent raiding or spying when the event ends?
A: They poof out of existence, so use them prior to that!

Q: When does a pledge package have to be claimed on an account in order receive prizes?
A: As long as you are a pledged player before the event ends, you will be eligible for the prizes at your backing level.

Q: Can I retroactively vote on prize tiers for my server if I am server locked and pledged prior to the end of the event?
A: Yes, provided you vote before the conclusion of the event.

Q: How can I get more Ancient Coins?
A: Coins were seeded into all accounts with a pledge package at the start of the event. After that, for each $10 spent in the store (per transaction) during the event, you will also receive 1 Ancient Coin to send or keep to win the Grand Prize. Remember, using store credit does not count toward earning Ancient Coins, but Raiding has a chance to find additional coins.

Q: Why is the vote button grey and unclickable?
A: There are 3 reasons the vote button might be grey and unclickable:
1) you have not selected an item to vote on, or
2) you have not selected your main server, or
3) you have already voted on that item.
