Can Adventure Islands be colonized.

Now that the final stretch goal, Adventure Islands, has been achieved I am wondering how big these islands will be. Can these islands be colonized? Can we found settlements on them? Can we found city state size kingdoms on them?

I hope so. I hope they're not actually just theme parks for "adventuring".

Would be cool to see a pirate island or cool to hear about it since I'm not going on boats.

This is an excellent question. I assume these bad boys are a good ways off land, which would seem to make them out of realm of the original kingdoms.

"Are these undiscovered lands unspoiled paradises waiting to be discovered, or monster-infested hellscapes meant to try the souls of mann?" If they are unspoiled paradises, they sound like great places to settle. If they are monster-infested hellscapes, well those are also great places to settle if that is your thing. The main difference is whether you build a pleasure garden or a fortified tower.

European Kingdoms colonised across the Atlantic, I think Player Kingdom will be ok, it's all logistics.

I think this is an excellent question as well, and one we have been discussing on Ashland discord.

do they still control those colonies? I think they will lose control as infrastructures are built and the colony no longer needs support to sustain itself.

If there are monster infested hellscapes, then the Janoa will be flooding them to prove their combat prowess. I'll need popcorn

Expecting to set up as a mayor in one of the three "two town" counties in Bridgespider (Angelica server, Kingdom of Tyria). I'm hoping to end up with a city by the end of exposition for lawmaking ability, assuming I can keep the city sustainable. You will know it's me by the city name Raven's Roost

Is there a reason you think it cannot which requires SBS to come here and respond personally?

Finding out if you can build something there is kind of part of the adventure.
