im not sure there is a list of biomes by how good they are at farming. what we do know is that marsh, swamp etc are great at wetland farming but suck at normal farming. Similar cases with the hot and cold biomes. but as it stands I believe that the Grasslands is the best all around farming biome, with the tundra and the alpine forests being at the bottom of the list. as far as where the others fall in the spectrum I have no clue.

I don’t know that we know that. We do know that it will depend on crop choice, fresh water availability, and soil type. If it is anything like real life, the best farming location should be cleared land in the broadleaf biome.

I bet it is safe to asume that you can do some agriculture (including animal husbandry) in every biome. In some better, in some worse

The rest is still unknown and needs to be more fleshed out first.

My guess is that unless you are in the very harshest of environs (extreme cold or total lack of water) a lot will depend more on you matching what you are trying to cultivate to the particular biome you are in.

Some things grow great in particular places and others just don't.

And it will be up to you to figure that out.

(i.e. Cacti and Rice are not interchangeable)

So how much water does X crop need?

What kind of drainage?

What type of soil?

Is it subject to predation or infestation?

Fun Agricultural Stuff like that...

Match the right crop with the right environment, add some hard work (and a little luck lol) and viola...it's harvest time.

But no actual "list" of what grows where exist right now...The closest thing is the descriptions listed in some of the "biome suggested" plants that were sold already...You may be able to get some ideas there.

Happy Horticulturaling, Y'all !!

Depends on what you’re trying to farm.
