Hello, I am new to hearing about this game. Is it possible to be a bandit with a camp along the road? If you were to go into town would people recognize you as a bandit? Would there be law men hunting you? Do you serve jail time? Can you break out of jail?

-It is possible to be a bandit and have a camp, although details on unsanctioned "squatting" are sparse right now

-According to the described fame/reputation/gossip system, you might be recognized if you're infamous unless you have invested skills and resources into disguising yourself

-Law men (players mostly, possibly npcs as well) will likely hunt you via bounty tokens. Currently, it is still up in the air whether jail time will be physically acted out in a real time in an actual prison, or merely deducted from your total lifespan and spark.

Yeah, the whole thing about jail time is that if they were to punish players by sticking them into an actual prison, in which tey'd have to wait out their sentence before being able to play again, that would discourage them from even returning to the game. If they instead made it a bit of an enjoyable place to be, it wouldn't be much of a punishment at all.

Right now, you just get a deduction from your playing time.
