How can I use an image for my signature?

I read this post from Souzou https://chroniclesofelyria.com/forum/topic/1187/How-To-Create-A-Signature-

But I feel dumb because it isn't working so I must be doing it wrong.

No space between ![ but a space between the square brackets and then no space to the brackets with the link. If it doesn’t show it’s the link that is broken. Which means you have to have Https < with the s specifically. And it has to be .png or .jpeg etc
