Chrome Security Warning

I'm getting an error in Chrome 72.0.3626.109 on Win 10 when visiting a certain forum page. I'm guessing somebody has some embedded link or picture that directs to hmp.me.

The url is https://chroniclesofelyria.com/forum/topic/15709/nontraditionalgroup-marriages?page=2

and the Chrome error is;

Deceptive site ahead Attackers on hmp.me may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers or credit cards).

Then I would suggest not going to the link if it is not a CoE link or verified link. Apologies~

I came to report the same it doesn't actually allow you to reach the CoE site- it just directs you 'Back to Safety'.

the issue is that it IS a CoE link

if you click on the button to go to page 2:

then page two will briefly flash on screen and then be replaced by:

Jep, you are correct. I am not pointing anyone out, but there is a referal to something from hmp.me. It does not directly link to hmp.me, but just that it is there makes Chrome go crazy. IE has no issues reading the page, but well, its IE...

Firefox does the same but then they are using the same data as provided by Google.

I did a whois but it didn't turn up much. A quick google leads me to believe it may be an image hosting\url shortening service. Whether totally benign or not I don't know.

Thank you for the information. We have identified the issue. This is not caused by the COE site codebase and we will be taking the appropriate actions.

@Orlando

I created medalions for our duchy to use in our signature and was looking for a shortnening service to upload the images with to remain within the character requirements. I ended up using hmp.me. Anyone with these medalions will have a picture that links back to that service.

The groups I made them for:

Baron of Lichtenturm

City of Briva

Barony of Hessa

Duchy of Atravia

Order of the Blue Rook

You may be within character limits but your signature is insanely big in size.

Perhaps they should put some limits on image size
