Different pledge levels get different amounts. So far what I've noticed from asking my group is Bloodline gets 4, Mayors and Counts get 2, and Dukes get 1. Not sure about the other levels but some levels seem to have the same amount (since Mayors and Counts get the same) regardless of aristocracy, gentry, etc.

That is only for Coins. Everyone got 10 supplies at the start.
