If you go to the surname reservation page it will show you what server your surname was reserved on, if any, and if someone else hasn't reserved the surname. However, if it isn't on the server you wanted I would suggest that you email a ticket into support: [email protected]
Reserving a surname on a particular server only ties that surname to that server if you decide to use it with one of your sparks. It has nothing to do with server selection which is still forthcoming.
