I was really enjoying the discussion around the Waerdic Glaive last week! As usual, you all continue to impress with your knowledge and the depth of your consideration on all matters Elyrian! This week, it's time to give the Hrothi a moment to shine in the spotlight, and what better way to show off the Shields of Virtue than with a Hrothic shield?

The version shown here is only of common quality, meant to illustrate the sort of equipment that even the least talented of the Hrothi could possess. I hope it gives you a sense of the sort of pride in worksmannship and craft that are core Hrothic values.

This is a fairly basic shield that would be found commonly among the Hrothi. Additional adornments or higher quality materials could be used to make a fancier version. To imagine the art of Hrothi craft, picture a finer version of the same sort of shield, shining with the luster of golden Hrothic Alloy, its wooden elements replaced with pattern-welded steel, and every surface engraved with Virtori inscriptions and Hrothic patterning.
